Getting Started

How do I get started?

Sign up for an account, then complete the onboarding wizard. You'll set up your product details, choose subreddits to monitor, and add keywords to match against. Once that's done, hit "Scan Now" from your dashboard to find your first opportunities.

Do I need a Reddit account to use ReplyMine?

No. ReplyMine reads publicly available posts — no Reddit login is required. You only need a Reddit account when you're ready to reply to a post directly on Reddit.

How do I choose the right subreddits?

Think about where your target audience hangs out. Start with 2–3 subreddits that are directly related to the problem your product solves. You can always add more later as you learn which communities generate the best opportunities.

What makes a good keyword?

Use specific phrases your audience would actually say, like "looking for a tool" or "need help with". Avoid overly generic terms that will match too many irrelevant posts. Mix broad terms with specific ones to balance coverage and precision.

Scanning & Scoring

How does scanning work?

When you trigger a scan, ReplyMine fetches the latest posts from each of your configured subreddits. It matches post titles and body text against your keywords, then scores each match from 0–100 based on keyword relevance, engagement, recency, and comment opportunity.

How often can I scan?

Starter plan users get 5 scans per day. Pro and Scale plans include unlimited scans. Each scan checks all your configured subreddits at once.

What does the relevance score mean?

The 0–100 score reflects how good of an opportunity a post is. It factors in how closely the post matches your keywords, how much engagement it has, how recent it is, and whether there's still room to contribute in the comments. Higher scores mean better opportunities.

Why am I not seeing any results?

This usually means your keywords are too specific or your subreddits don't have recent posts matching them. Try broadening your keywords, adding more subreddits, or scanning during peak Reddit activity hours.

Managing Posts

What do the post statuses mean?

Posts start as "New" when first discovered. You can mark them as "Saved" to come back to later, "Dismissed" to hide them, or they'll show as "Replied" once you've tracked a response. Use the filter panel to view posts by status.

How do I reply to a post?

Click the reply button on any post card to get a suggested reply you can customize. When you're ready, click the Reddit link to open the post directly on Reddit where you can paste and post your response.

How long are posts kept?

Post retention depends on your plan: 15 days for Starter, 30 days for Pro, and 90 days for Scale. Posts older than your retention window are automatically cleaned up.

Account & Billing

How do I change my plan?

Go to Dashboard → Settings to manage your subscription. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the Settings page. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data within 30 days.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Click "Forgot password" on the sign-in page and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link that's valid for one hour.
